Production Associate
We are currently recruiting Production Associates to join a growing manufacturing company based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment and are looking to develop their career with a well-established employer.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day production process while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assemble products in line with production specifications
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Monitor production processes and report any issues promptly
- Pack, label and prepare finished products for dispatch
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
- Work as part of a production team to achieve daily production targets
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives where required
- Complete production documentation accurately
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or factory environment is highly desirable
- Experience operating production machinery would be an advantage
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern is essential
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Manual handling experience is beneficial
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
