Part-Time Customer Service Representative – Castlerea, Roscommon

Arcon Recruitment is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for an established company based in Castlerea, County Roscommon.

This is an attractive part-time opportunity offering either five mornings or three full working days per week. The position may suit someone seeking a role that fits around school hours or other commitments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders and providing administrative support to different departments. Previous experience using Intact iQ would be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer enquiries by telephone and email.
• Process orders accurately through the company’s internal system.
• Provide customers with updates on orders, stock and delivery schedules.
• Prepare quotations, order confirmations and relevant documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer and account information.
• Liaise with sales, accounts, warehouse and delivery colleagues.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve customer queries.
• Support the sales team with customer and order administration.
• Deal with customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
• Complete general office and administrative duties when required.
• Help deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous customer service, sales administration or office experience.
• Previous experience with Intact iQ is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A professional and friendly telephone manner.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work across several departments and manage changing priorities.
• A dependable, flexible and customer-focused attitude.
• Availability to work fully on-site in Castlerea.

Working Pattern

The company can offer one of the following arrangements:

• Five mornings per week, or
• Three full days per week.
