Key Responsibilities
- Preparing project cost estimates and budgets
- Managing procurement and subcontractor packages
- Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs and financial reporting
- Assisting with tender preparation and analysis
- Reviewing subcontractor quotations and negotiations
- Conducting site visits and attending project meetings
- Preparing monthly cost reports and forecasts
- Managing project variations and change orders
- Ensuring projects remain within budget targets
- Liaising with project managers, clients, and site teams
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and documentation
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role
- Experience within residential and/or commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quantity Surveying software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full clean driver’s licence desirable
