Arcon Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller on behalf of a well-established client in Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to join a busy organisation on a fixed-term contract basis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the finance function, supporting senior management, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational control.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Financial analysis and performance reporting
• Managing day-to-day finance operations
• Ensuring compliance with financial controls and procedures
• Supporting strategic business decisions with financial insight
• Liaising with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance role
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
