Arcon Recruitment, the longest established recruitment agency in the West of Ireland, is currently recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing construction company based in Co. Mayo.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer with a civil or commercial construction background to join a busy team and assist the Contracts Manager across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Contracts Manager with day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors and site personnel
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed to specification
• Setting out and site surveying duties
• Maintaining health & safety standards on site
• Liaising with clients, engineers, architects, and suppliers
• Assisting with project documentation and reporting
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements

• Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Previous experience in a Site Engineer role
• Background in civil engineering or commercial construction projects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Full clean driving licence preferred
