Senior Architect – Commercial Projects | Fully Remote Available
An established and growing architectural practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join its expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience in Ireland who is looking to take ownership of exciting commercial and residential projects while enjoying the flexibility of fully remote or hybrid working.
Working alongside an experienced design team, you will lead projects from concept through to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects through all design stages.
- Manage project programmes, budgets and resources.
- Chair Design Team meetings.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, quantity surveyors and specialist consultants.
- Prepare and review planning, tender and construction documentation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors and local authorities.
- Mentor junior architectural staff where required.
- Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and current planning legislation.
Requirements
- Registered Architect or eligible for registration.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering projects in Ireland.
- Strong commercial, residential or public sector project experience.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience chairing Design Team meetings.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations.
- Experience using Revit is highly desirable.

Location
The office is based in Co. Mayo, however fully remote working is available throughout Ireland.
For candidates wishing to attend the office, it is easily commutable from Westport, Ballina, Claremorris, Ballinrobe, Ballyhaunis, Swinford, Foxford, Newport, Belmullet, Charlestown, Knock, Kiltimagh, Crossmolina, Cong, Louisburgh, Achill, Balla and surrounding areas.
