Arcon Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a major Data Centre project in Canada.
The role will have a strong focus on mechanical services, HVAC and MEP installation and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate mechanical and HVAC installations.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
- Work closely with mechanical and MEP subcontractors.
- Monitor installation progress against programme requirements.
- Resolve mechanical and technical issues.
- Coordinate mechanical systems with electrical, controls and BMS systems.
- Attend design and coordination meetings.
- Support QA/QC inspections.
- Assist with testing and commissioning.
- Ensure mechanical works meet project specifications and safety requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar.
- Experience delivering mechanical or HVAC packages.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical building services.
- Data Centre experience is desirable.
- Pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial, cleanroom or mission-critical experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving ability.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
