Quality Manager – Castlebar, Co. Mayo
Contract: Initially maternity leave cover
Arcon Recruitment is seeking a Quality Manager on behalf of our client in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. This role will initially provide maternity leave cover.
This opportunity would suit an experienced quality professional with strong team management and analytical skills. The successful candidate will oversee data quality programmes supporting AI and machine learning applications, ensuring customer standards for accuracy, reliability and productivity are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day quality activities across multiple customer programmes.
- Lead, coach and support team members to achieve quality and productivity targets.
- Develop quality procedures and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Analyse datasets and evaluator performance to identify trends, investigate issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, presenting clear findings to internal teams and customers.
- Work with data science and operational teams to improve data accuracy and evaluation methods.
- Collaborate with learning and development colleagues to ensure training reflects customer requirements.
- Identify procedural, knowledge and skills gaps and implement improvement initiatives.
- Support customer reviews, proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with international colleagues, with flexibility to accommodate different time zones.
Requirements
- At least three years’ relevant experience in quality programme management, operations or a related area.
- Experience managing and coaching a team; a client-facing or contact centre background would be an advantage.
- A relevant qualification in quality, data analytics, data science, computational linguistics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with datasets and performance metrics.
- A good understanding of AI, machine learning and data quality processes.
- Experience using reporting and data visualisation tools, such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Location
Based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, with potential commuting options including Westport, Newport, Balla, Claremorris, Swinford, Foxford and Ballina.
