We are currently recruiting for Workshop Fabricatiors, based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

Duties and tasks include, but are not limited to:

· Interpret and understand drawings and specifications.

· Select and prepare materials, such as metals/plastics, according to project requirements.

· Use cutting and shaping equipment to fabricate components.

· Employ precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications

· Operate workshop machinery, including cutting equipment & handheld tools.

· Maintenance on tools to ensure optimal performance.

· Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.

· Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and problem-solve during the fabrication process

· Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

· Provide regular updates on project progress to Production Leads & Production Manager.

• Ensuring the safe operation of all equipment.

• Ensuring housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Requirements:

· A background in carpentry, sheet metal fabrication, general engineering fabrication or similar skillset an advantage.

· Have a clear understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices

· Excellent timekeeping and attendance

· Attention to detail

· Flexibility

· Good level of English required
