Overview

We are seeking experienced and self-motivated office staff to join our team on a part-time basis, required days are Thursday and Friday.

 

The ideal candidates must have a strong background in office administration. This position requires excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and having an eye for detail.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate accounts (payable and receivable), payroll and daily financial entries and reconciliation of bank and customer accounts using a Cloud based accounting system.
  • Manage daily accounts functions, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Operate as the first point of contact, including phone and email duties, and client facing support.
  • Assist the HR department in posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining employee records.
  • Taking a lead role in on-boarding new employees, clients, systems, and services.
  • Order and maintain inventory of stock and raw materials.
  • Assisting colleagues whenever possible.

 

The successful candidate should:

  • Needs to have bookkeeping experience and be comfortable using excel.
  • Have demonstrable experience working in a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be an honest and trustworthy advisor and colleague.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
