IT Support Engineer – Graduate / Entry Level
Arcon Recruitment is seeking an ambitious IT Support Engineer for an entry-level opportunity with a technology business working in AI, machine learning and data quality solutions.
This role would suit a graduate who wants to develop practical technical and business skills while supporting day-to-day IT operations. You will work with internal teams and a global community of users, helping to deliver reliable systems, resolve technical queries and improve the user experience.
The Role
As IT Support Engineer, you will support a range of digital platforms, cloud services and applications. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will contribute to application support, automation, technical documentation and technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation and optimisation of digital identity and verification solutions.
- Provide timely technical assistance to users through messaging, generative AI tools, email, chat and video channels.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, service endpoints and data pipelines supporting the user community.
- Assist the application support team with testing, documentation and the rollout of integrations and mobile application solutions.
- Prepare and maintain platform procedures, support guides and technical documentation.
- Contribute to IT research and development projects in line with the technology roadmap.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve digital platforms and the user experience.
- Provide IT support to on-site employees.
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes through scripting and automation.
- Support ISO 27001, SOC 2 and related certification projects.
Qualifications and Technical Skills
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technology discipline.
- Graduate-level scripting experience using Bash, PowerShell or Python.
- Experience with remote monitoring and management tools.
- Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exposure to digital identity technology would be an advantage.
