Are you a recent graduate looking to begin an exciting career in sales and business development?
Our client, an established business in Castlebar, is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Sales Executive to join its growing team.
No previous sales experience is required. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate who enjoys communicating with people and wants to build a successful commercial career.
The Role
Working with an experienced sales team, you will learn how to develop customer relationships, identify new opportunities and support the growth of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting new and existing customers by telephone and email.
- Learning about the company’s products and services.
- Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
- Responding to sales enquiries and preparing quotations.
- Following up on leads, quotations and potential opportunities.
- Building positive, long-term customer relationships.
- Supporting senior sales colleagues with account development.
- Maintaining accurate customer and sales information on the CRM system.
- Assisting with sales reports and general sales administration.
- Working towards agreed individual and team targets.
- Developing your knowledge of sales, negotiation and account management.
Candidate Profile
We would like to hear from graduates from all educational backgrounds, including business, marketing, commerce, communications, hospitality, retail or other disciplines.
The successful candidate will have:
- A recent degree, diploma or relevant third-level qualification.
- A confident and professional communication style.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Comfortable telephone and computer skills.
- A customer-focused and commercially minded approach.
- The motivation to build a long-term career in sales.
- Previous retail, hospitality, customer-service or part-time sales experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
