Production Associate – Mayo

Arcon Recruitment is recruiting Production Associates for an established manufacturing company in County Mayo.
The successful candidates will support day-to-day manufacturing activities, assemble products, inspect finished items and help ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
Previous factory or manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but training may be provided to suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete general production and manufacturing duties.
- Assemble products and components according to work instructions.
- Operate basic production equipment where required.
- Inspect products for quality, damage or defects.
- Complete production records accurately.
- Pack, label and prepare finished products for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workstation.
- Follow all quality, health and safety procedures.
- Report equipment faults or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Work with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
- Assist in other production areas when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous production, factory, assembly or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety.
- Ability to complete manual-handling duties safely.
- Flexibility to work different shifts where required.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
