Senior Project Manager – Data Centre Construction | Finland
Our client, a leading specialist roofing and cladding contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major Data Centre project in Finland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated construction professional with extensive experience delivering roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope packages on large-scale commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects.
Working on a 10 days on / 4 days off rotational schedule, you will take full responsibility for project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
Fluent English is essential. Previous experience working on international projects is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of roofing, cladding and building envelope works on a major Data Centre project.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery from mobilisation through to handover.
- Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Site Managers and project teams.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
- Chair client, subcontractor and design coordination meetings.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
- Monitor commercial performance, forecasting and project reporting.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, statutory and Health & Safety requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years’ Project Management experience within the construction industry.
- Proven experience delivering roofing, cladding, façade or building envelope projects.
- Previous Data Centre experience is highly desirable.
- Experience delivering Pharmaceutical, Industrial or Commercial construction projects will also be considered.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
- Proven ability to manage large multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Willingness to work in Finland on a 10 days on / 4 days off rotation.
