Online Warehouse & Administration Supervisor – Mayo

Our client, a growing and successful retail and e-commerce organisation based in Co. Mayo, is seeking an experienced Online Warehouse & Administration Supervisor to join their operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised professional to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, administration functions, team supervision and systems coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency across online fulfilment and warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, support and motivate warehouse and administration teams.
  • Supervise daily team performance, attendance and staff development.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing team development.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members as required.
  • Act as a key point of contact during the absence of senior management.

Warehouse & Administration

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse and online operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports and operational documentation.
  • Support stock control activities and ensure procedures are followed consistently.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding stock and operational matters.
  • Support administrative functions associated with warehouse operations.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Develop knowledge of warehouse management and online systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting operational and systems issues.
  • Support testing and implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and workflow.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve operational issues.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, incidents and near misses promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation, cleanliness and safety.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics or administrative environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT and systems knowledge.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using e-commerce platforms such as Shopify would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in Co. Mayo and is commutable from:

Castlebar, Westport, Ballinrobe, Claremorris, Ballyhaunis, Ballina, Foxford, Newport, Swinford and surrounding areas.
