Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer – Dublin (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer looking for your next challenge in Dublin? Our client is seeking a talented engineer to take ownership of their cloud infrastructure, reliability, and deployment platform. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Dublin, offering strong career growth in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
You will design and manage the AWS and Kubernetes foundation, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure services are reliable, secure, and cost-efficient. Working in a small, agile engineering team, you’ll have high autonomy and ownership, playing a central role in the success of the platform.
Key Responsibilities

Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments

Manage and scale Kubernetes containerised applications

Oversee AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, etc.)

Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance

Collaborate closely with engineers on product and infrastructure improvements

Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs

Implement monitoring and observability for all services
Requirements
-
3+ years’ experience in DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles

Strong Kubernetes and AWS production experience

Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

Solid CI/CD knowledge (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and GitOps workflows

Experience troubleshooting Python REST services in production

Comfortable in a small, fast-moving team with high ownership

Must hold a valid visa to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
