Overview

We are seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant on behalf of our well established client in North Mayo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts which allow management to evaluate the performance of the business.
• Prepare and post monthly journals and complete monthly reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable as needed.
• Assist with completion of statutory tax returns as required
• Assist in the preparation of the year end file and assist auditors with the audit process.
• When requested, interact and perform other ad-hoc duties in other areas of the business and finance function.
• To share ideas on process improvements

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Business/accountancy or equivalent.
• Currently studying towards or recently qualified with a professional accountancy qualification: ACCA, CIMA, CPA.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage change successfully.
• Take responsibility for task completion and meeting deadlines.
• Bright and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Must have strong Excel skills & be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook/Word.
