Arcon Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Castlebar. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and helping people find the right job.
Previous recruitment experience is not essential. A background in sales would be an advantage, and we would also like to hear from candidates with experience in customer service, business development or other people-focused roles.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will work with employers and jobseekers throughout the recruitment process. You will develop client relationships, identify suitable candidates and help match people with opportunities across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
- Contact businesses to identify recruitment needs and develop new opportunities.
- Advertise vacancies and search for suitable candidates.
- Review CVs and speak with candidates about their experience and career goals.
- Match candidates to suitable roles and present their details to clients.
- Arrange interviews and provide feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage job vacancies and maintain accurate records on the recruitment database.
- Provide a professional and responsive service to clients and candidates.
- Work towards agreed business development and recruitment targets.
- Represent Arcon Recruitment professionally within the local business community.
Skills and Experience
- Previous recruitment experience is not required.
- A sales or business development background would be an advantage.
- Experience in customer service or another role involving regular contact with people would be beneficial.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A confident, proactive approach and willingness to make contact with businesses and candidates.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Motivation to achieve targets and develop new opportunities.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about recruitment.
Location
The role is based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, and may suit candidates travelling from Westport, Newport, Balla, Ballinrobe, Foxford, Swinford, Kiltimagh, Claremorris, Knock, Ballina and Charlestown, depending on individual travel preferences.
