About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join a growing national distribution company. Operating across Ireland and Northern Ireland, this role will involve managing a field-based sales team, developing new business, and growing key accounts in the B2B sales and industrial distribution space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a national field sales team

  • Drive new business development across sectors including automotive, agricultural, plant, and industrial

  • Grow and retain a strong portfolio of key accounts across Ireland

  • Develop and execute the company’s national sales strategy

  • Collaborate with regional managers to achieve performance targets

  • Identify opportunities in key areas such as Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, and Belfast

  • Support sales staff through recruitment, training, and mentoring

  • Monitor performance metrics and implement growth strategies


Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in a Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or Senior Sales Executive role

  • Proven success in B2B, distribution, or field sales environments

  • Strong leadership and team development skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities

  • Knowledge of CRM systems and reporting tools

  • Sector experience in automotive supplies, agri products, or industrial equipment is a strong advantage


Requirements

  • Full, clean driving licence

  • Fluent English (written and verbal)

  • Willing to travel regularly across Ireland and Northern Ireland
