Quantity Surveyor / estimator required for our client in Mayo

All quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuation and agreement of work sections.

• Correspondence with clients/clients’ representatives.
• Preparation of accurate forecasts / cost value reconciliation of project costs to completion and final value.
• Prepare change orders and variation logs on the project together with weekly reports on job progress.
• Prepare monthly interim valuations.
• Sub-contractor re-measurement, interim and final account payments.
• Ongoing job cost monitoring and reporting with Financial Manager / Contracts Manager / Foremen
• Compiling variation logs and signing off on variations with Contracts Manager.
• Estimating and tendering for projects where required.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: BSc Quantity Surveying
• Experience & Skills: 5 years Previous Project QS experience
• Previous experience in any aspect of the construction industry an advantage.
• Competent Computer skills required, Microsoft office suite, Bluebeam Revu, and in particular Microsoft excel.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Candidates will be required to work efficiently as an integral part of the team to achieve company objectives in line with furthering their own career.
• Excellent communication skills and professional manner expected.
