IT Support Engineer – Co. Mayo

We are recruiting an IT Support Engineer for a fast-growing technology organisation based in Co. Mayo. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a motivated graduate who wants to start their career in IT within a modern, data-driven and global environment.

You will support day-to-day IT operations while helping to deliver secure, reliable digital solutions for both internal teams and international online communities.

About the Role

As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll work closely with technical and business teams to ensure smooth IT operations and a strong user experience. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, SaaS tools, automation, identity technologies and security-focused IT systems — ideal for building a long-term career in technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise community-based digital identity solutions

  • Provide technical support via email, chat, video and AI-enabled channels

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, service endpoints and data pipelines

  • Support application testing, documentation and rollout of integrations and mobile apps

  • Maintain IT procedures and technical documentation

  • Assist with R&D and technology roadmap projects

  • Provide on-site IT support to employees

  • Identify and streamline processes using automation

  • Support ISO 27001, SOC 2 and other compliance initiatives

Technical Requirements

  • Degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline

  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Graduate-level scripting experience in Python, Bash or PowerShell

  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms and remote monitoring tools

  • Exposure to identity or access management technologies is an advantage
