Arcon Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Project Manager for a major Data Centre project in Canada.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of key construction and MEP packages, coordinating site, engineering, commercial and specialist subcontractor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of construction, mechanical and electrical packages.
- Coordinate MEP, HVAC and specialist subcontractors.
- Manage project programmes, resources and key milestones.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers and commercial teams.
- Chair and attend project and coordination meetings.
- Monitor programme performance and project progress.
- Work closely with Quantity Surveying and procurement teams.
- Manage project risks and resolve delivery issues.
- Ensure required Health & Safety and quality standards are maintained.
- Support testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in Construction, Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
- Strong Project Management experience.
- Experience on large-scale construction or engineering projects.
- Data Centre or mission-critical experience is highly desirable.
- Pharmaceutical, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing or major MEP experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and HVAC packages.
- Strong leadership and subcontractor management ability.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
