Wedding Sales Manager – Hotel – West Mayo
Arcon Recruitment is recruiting a Wedding Sales Manager for a hotel in West Mayo.
This opportunity would suit a personable, organised and commercially focused candidate with experience in wedding sales, hotel sales or event coordination. You will help couples plan their special day while driving wedding enquiries, bookings and revenue for the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage wedding enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed bookings.
- Conduct hotel showarounds, showcasing wedding facilities, packages and accommodation.
- Build strong relationships with couples and provide a professional, welcoming service.
- Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and wedding packages.
- Follow up on enquiries and work towards agreed sales targets.
- Coordinate wedding details with couples, ensuring their requirements are clearly recorded.
- Work closely with hotel management, banqueting, food and beverage, reservations and kitchen teams.
- Arrange handovers to the operations team to support the smooth delivery of each wedding.
- Organise and attend wedding showcases, open days and promotional events.
- Build relationships with wedding suppliers and industry contacts.
- Support wedding marketing campaigns, social media content and promotional activity.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, contracts and payments.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in wedding sales, hotel sales, banqueting or event coordination.
- Excellent communication, customer service and relationship-building skills.
- A confident approach to conducting showarounds and converting enquiries into bookings.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and events at different stages.
- A commercially focused approach with an understanding of sales targets.
- Ability to work closely with colleagues across hotel departments.
- Flexibility to attend appointments, showcases and events during evenings or weekends as required.
Location
The hotel is based in West Mayo. The role may suit candidates living in Westport, Castlebar, Newport, Louisburgh and surrounding areas, depending on the hotel’s exact location.
