Arcon Recruitment is recruiting a Social Media / Marketing Executive for a business based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
This entry-level role may suit a recent graduate in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline who is keen to develop practical experience in social media, content creation and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with managing social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content, including posts, graphics, photographs and short videos.
- Plan and schedule content to support marketing campaigns and business activities.
- Write clear, creative copy for social media, website updates and promotional materials.
- Support email marketing campaigns and help maintain website content.
- Monitor social media engagement and assist with reporting on campaign performance.
- Research trends and suggest fresh ideas to increase brand awareness.
- Assist with events, promotions and general marketing administration.
- Maintain a consistent brand tone and appearance across marketing materials.
Candidate Requirements
- A qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field would be an advantage.
- A strong interest in social media, digital marketing and content creation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative approach and strong attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools would be beneficial.
- Photography, video editing or website experience would be an advantage.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team.
Previous professional marketing experience is not essential. Relevant college projects, internships, personal social media projects or examples of content you have created are welcome.
Location – Commutable to Castlebar
This Castlebar-based position may suit candidates commuting from Westport, Newport, Balla, Ballyvary, Foxford, Swinford, Ballina, Claremorris, Ballinrobe, Kiltimagh, Knock and surrounding areas of Co. Mayo.
