Marketing Manager – Retail | Mayo

Arcon Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Marketing Manager on behalf of a well-established retail business based in County Mayo.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused marketing professional to take responsibility for the development and delivery of marketing activity across a busy retail operation.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of retail marketing, digital marketing, social media and promotional campaigns, with the ability to develop initiatives that increase brand awareness, customer engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy
- Plan and manage retail marketing campaigns and promotions
- Develop campaigns designed to increase customer footfall and sales
- Manage digital marketing activity across relevant channels
- Manage and develop the company’s social media presence
- Plan and create engaging marketing content
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, product launches and promotional events
- Manage email marketing and customer communications
- Support customer loyalty and retention initiatives
- Work closely with the retail and sales teams on promotional activity
- Manage website content and online marketing activity
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports
- Analyse customer trends and marketing data
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and market reach
- Manage relationships with external agencies, designers, printers and other suppliers
- Ensure consistent branding across all marketing channels
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective return on investment
- Keep up to date with developments in retail, digital marketing and consumer trends
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Executive or similar role
- Experience within retail, e-commerce or a consumer-focused business would be a strong advantage
- Strong digital marketing knowledge
- Experience managing social media platforms and campaigns
- Good understanding of content creation and brand management
- Experience planning promotional and seasonal marketing campaigns
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing activity can drive sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
- Good analytical skills and ability to measure marketing performance
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with management and retail teams
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, email marketing, CRM systems, Google Analytics or paid digital advertising would be an advantage.
