Sales Representative – Midlands Region

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Representative to join a growing and successful organisation covering the Midlands region of Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious sales professional who enjoys developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth across a well-established territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities throughout Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Kilkenny and Carlow.

This position would suit candidates with experience in field sales, business development, account management, technical sales, construction sales, industrial sales, manufacturing sales, or B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reports.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and support.
  • Represent the company professionally within the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Sales Representative, Business Development, Area Sales, Territory Sales or Account Management role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to develop new business opportunities and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Commercially focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Experience selling into construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, builders merchants, or related sectors would be advantageous.
