Our client, a leading supplier within Ireland’s safety and signage sector, is expanding their team in Castlebar and now seeks a Sign Maker / Signage Production Operative to support a growing Signs Division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on work, long-term development, and full training provided onsite.

About the Role

This is a practical, varied role where you will be involved in all stages of sign production, print, and garment branding. No previous industry experience is required — full training will be provided. The role offers excellent progression and the opportunity to build a long-term trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, printing, and manufacture of signage.

  • Support garment printing and embroidery processes (training provided).

  • Prepare artwork, production files, and materials with strong attention to detail.

  • Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

  • Carry out varied tasks to support overall team needs.

  • Participate in occasional onsite customer visits or service calls.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Positive can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.

  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good computer literacy and comfort with basic software.

  • Ability to work independently or within a team.

  • Clean driver’s licence essential for occasional onsite work.
