About the Role

We are recruiting a skilled Field Service Engineer with an electrical or mechanical background to join our service team, covering Dublin and the surrounding counties of Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Louth, and Wicklow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, repair, overhaul, and upgrade a range of equipment.

  • Carry out electrical fault-finding and interpret electrical/pneumatic drawings.

  • Work with packaging machinery, automation, and control systems (IPC, PC, MC controls, Servo, and AC drives).

  • Support robotic systems and thermoforming equipment (training provided).

  • Deliver excellent customer service under tight schedules.

  • Manage workload independently while collaborating with the wider engineering team.

  • Maintain flexibility for occasional weekend work, early starts, or late finishes.

Candidate Profile

  • Recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship (or equivalent).

  • Relevant qualifications in the service/maintenance industry.

  • Experience working with packaging machinery and automation systems.

  • Knowledge of robotics and thermoforming (advantage, training provided).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Self-motivated, conscientious, and hands-on.
