HR Officer – Mayo

Location: Co. Mayo, West of Ireland

We are recruiting a proactive HR Officer to join our team in County Mayo. This is a key role supporting HR operations, recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with solid HR knowledge, ensuring that HR processes run smoothly and that managers and employees receive professional support.

Part of the role will be providing to  the operations manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HR administration including employee records and compliance.

  • Support the full recruitment cycle: advertising, interviews, and contracts.

  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes.

  • Provide HR advice to managers and staff on policies and procedures.

  • Assist with training, learning, and development programmes.

  • Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with Irish employment law and HR best practice.

  • Contribute to HR projects, audits, and improvements.


Candidate Profile

  • Degree in HR, Business, or related field.

  • At least 2 years’ HR Officer or HR support experience.

  • Strong understanding of Irish employment law.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
