About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to lead and manage a team of dynamic field sales representatives across Ireland. Our client is a market leader in its sector, recognized for excellence in distribution and retail services. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for driving sales, achieving targets, and ensuring the commercial success of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field sales representatives nationwide
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing guidance and support to the team
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and retail partners
  • Oversee distribution operations, ensuring seamless product availability across the network
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to align sales strategies with business objectives
  • Report on sales performance, KPIs, and market insights to senior leadership
  • Travel nationwide to support and motivate the sales team

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, Sales Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Background in distribution, retail, or FMCG industries is highly advantageous
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a remote field sales team
  • Commercially minded with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly motivated, hands-on, and target-driven
  • Willingness to travel across Ireland as required
  • Full clean driving license
