We are recruiting General Operatives to join a respected manufacturing operation based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. This role offers long-term potential, starting on a 22-month contract with strong chances of progressing to a permanent position. Ideal for candidates with a background in production or those with transferable experience and a mechanical mindset.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate a variety of machinery and equipment in a busy production environment
- Carry out quality checks, inspections, and measurements in line with company standards
- Follow detailed manufacturing guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Maintain clear communication with your team and other departments on the line
- Help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Some previous experience in a production, engineering, or mechanical environment
- Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night pattern)
- Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive in approach
- Flexible and willing to learn – full training will be provided
