Overview
We are seeking a Qualified Accountant in Co. Sligo
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis
- Preparing and issuing invoices and managing debtors
- Accounts payable and supplier management
- Management of bank accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting preparation
- Year end closing activities
- Tax reporting and support statutory compliance
- Sales and KPI preparation and analysis
- Contract margin and profitability reporting
- Participate in the finance and financial control process, system development, and other projects as needed, working closely with the Finance Director and Director of Operations
- Ensuring that all necessary data are available in a timely and accurate manner
- Presentation of meaningful trends and analysis to enable internal stakeholders to make informed decisions
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience in the construction industry is desirable but not essential
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office package
- Comfortable with the use of Accounting Software
