Senior Site Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer with proven Site Management experience to join the team for the full duration of this impactful project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site engineering, managing key elements of construction, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that quality, safety, and programme standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate site engineering functions and subcontractors.
• Oversee setting out, levels, and quality assurance across the build.
• Ensure timely execution of work in line with programme and budget.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and design team to resolve issues.
• Manage documentation and reports, including daily diaries, safety audits, and quality inspections.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards across the site.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage material deliveries to site.
• Act as a key liaison with stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery of works.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer with leadership capability.
• Background in long-term placements with reputable main contractors.
• Strong experience with structural elements including:
• – Glulam / CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) – highly preferable.
• – RC (Reinforced Concrete) and Steel Frame.
• – Civil works, including groundworks and utilities.
• – Timber Cladding and Curtain Walling installation.
• Excellent understanding of site operations, sequencing, and temporary works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Valid Safe Pass and full driving licence.

Remuneration:

**Salary:** Negotiable (commensurate with experience)
