Overview
A well-established mechanical engineering company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC and mechanical installation projects across the West of Ireland.
This is a field-based role with projects spanning Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, Limerick, Clare, and Westmeath, making it ideal for candidates based in the western region looking for a dynamic and hands-on position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple HVAC and mechanical engineering projects from inception through to completion
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
- Conduct site visits across the West of Ireland as required
Requirements
- Degree or trade background in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Proven experience managing HVAC or mechanical projects
- Strong knowledge of building services and mechanical systems
- Experience delivering projects across multiple sites/locations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full clean driving licence (travel required)
Desirable
- Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
- Familiarity with Irish building regulations and compliance standards
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
