We are currently seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing and logistics operations for a busy production environment in County Mayo.
The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with experience driving efficiency, safety, and quality across all stages of production.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all manufacturing and logistics functions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

  • Lead and develop a motivated, high-performing production team.

  • Plan and execute production schedules to meet output targets and deadlines.

  • Manage costs, budgets, and performance metrics (KPIs).

  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, HR).

  • Chair regular production meetings to align goals and address challenges.

  • Provide reports and insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a production or operations management role.

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement, and quality systems.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience managing budgets and resources.

  • Proficient in production management software and reporting tools.
