Plant Administrator – Castlebar, Co. Mayo

Due to continued growth and new projects, we have an excellent opportunity for a Plant Administrator to join our team based full-time at our Castlebar Head Office.

We are a leading civil engineering company operating across Ireland. Our Plant Department supports large-scale construction projects nationwide, and this role plays a key part in keeping operations efficient and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager and other departments.

  • Manage and maintain electronic records, inspection sheets, and compliance forms.

  • Process purchase orders, fuel cards, invoices, and monthly cost reports.

  • Coordinate vehicle and plant maintenance schedules and occupational health appointments.

  • Support HR with onboarding and plant/vehicle assignment for new hires.

  • Ensure communication systems and records are accurate and up to date.

  • Assist with compliance tracking and documentation for internal audits.

Candidate Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in an administrative or plant/fleet coordination role.

  • Experience in construction or civil engineering administration is an advantage.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong IT proficiency (Sage, Sicon, or GoCodes desirable).

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach.
