Overview

As a Global Payment Specialist you are an innovative, resourceful, and passionate individual who enjoys solving  in-country payment challenges while working with multi-disciplinary teams. You always ensure payments are authentic and timely to a high standard that is consistently applied across all markets.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute monthly payment processes in an effective and timely manner.
  • Achieve market-specific payment goals while tracking payment metrics including time-to-pay and % of successful payments made.
  • Collaborate with internal peers/teams to meet all customer requirements and expectations.
  • Work with our payment rails partners to ensure up-to-date payment requirements are in place.
  • Engage with our Evaluator communities through messaging, live calling and chat to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Ensure F/X and local currency fluctuations are understood and applied appropriately.
  • Ensure all payment practises are compliant with local market legislation.
  • Ensure payment practises align with independent contracting requirements in each
  • Ensure all Evaluator personal data is secure, private and protected at all times.
  • Ensure alignment with the overall objectives of the Financial Accountant.
  • Liaise with payments provider to resolve any unsuccessful/rejected payments

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, accounting or equivalent.
  • MS Office 365 exposure with MS Excel expertise to intermediate level.
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new payment solutions, and develop creative community payment and incentive approaches.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to execute payment processes at scale and speed.
  • Demonstrated competence with payment technologies and/or platforms.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong consulting style skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated communication, leadership, organisational and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytics skills with ability to use analytics tools to create, measure, and forecast payment volumes and values.
  • A high level of attention to detail ensuring payments are processed in correct currency etc
