Our Client is seeking a Quality Surveyor with 5 years experience to join their long term project in Co.Louth
Daily Duties
All quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuation and agreement of work sections.
- Correspondence with clients/clients’ representatives.
- Preparation of accurate forecasts / cost value reconciliation of project costs to completion and final value.
- Prepare change orders and variation logs on the project together with weekly reports on job progress.
- Prepare monthly interim valuations.
- Sub-contractor re-measurement, interim and final account payments.
- Ongoing job cost monitoring and reporting with Financial Manager / Contracts Manager / Foremen
- Compiling variation logs and signing off on variations with Contracts Manager.
- Estimating and tendering for projects where required.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: BSc Quantity Surveying
- Experience & Skills: 5 years Previous Project QS experience
- Previous experience in any aspect of the construction industry an advantage.
- Competent Computer skills required, Microsoft office suite, Bluebeam Revu, and in particular Microsoft excel.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Candidates will be required to work efficiently as an integral part of the team to achieve company objectives in line with furthering their own career.
- Excellent communication skills and professional manner expected.
