Overview
We are seeking Contracts Manager to work with our well respected client in the Flooring sector to be based in Dublin.
Reporting to contracts director you will:
Role and responsibilities
- Overseeing the entire contract lifecycle: This includes drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing contracts.
- Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business
- Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
- Report to the contracts director
- Developing and presenting project proposals
- Attending site meetings to monitor progress
- Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
- Work closely with the client’s representatives on all matters relating to the services being provided.
- Monitor and control all day works ensuring the client has quoted for all chargeable work and received written confirmation prior to their completion.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Must have a background or experience in one of or all Tiling /vinyl/carpet/timber
- Experience in Purchasing/Fitout/Sales beneficial
- Relevant third level degree
- Be flexible with travel
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in negotiations and dealing with main contractors
- Excellent attention to detail
- A grasp of legal terms and conditions is useful
