Overview
Our client is looking for an Accountant to lead their finance department, in Co. Mayo.
You with work with a qualified accountant and two accounts assistants.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements to include P&L report, debtors and creditors report, and cash flow forecast.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Cost analysis
- Lead a finance team comprising of a qualified accountant and two accounts assistants.
- Implement best practice and process improvement
Key Requirements:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a similar industry
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong IT experience including comprehensive knowledge of Excel.
- Analytical mindset
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
