This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in VAT, payroll, and accounts administration. Role Overview
The Accounts Assistant will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting duties, ensuring accurate and efficient processing across VAT, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation and submission of VAT returns

Payroll processing (weekly / fortnightly / monthly)

Accounts administration and data entry

Assisting with accounts payable and receivable

Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting

Liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal departments

Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
-
Previous experience in an accounts, payroll, or finance support role

Good understanding of Irish VAT and payroll procedures

Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; accounting software experience is an advantage

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
