Arcon Recruitment has partnered with the Fallon Group in recruiting  a Commercial Manager to join their group:

The Company – Fallon Group (D&B Fallon, Castledargan Resort Ltd, Derfal Ltd), Northwest Business Park, Collooney, Co Sligo.

 

1. Job Title and Duties
   •  Job title is Commercial Leader.
   • Work to deadlines set by the Company.
   • In conjunction with the Managing Director, you will define strategy and budgets.
   • As a commercial leader, you will lead and implement business strategies and commercial success.

 

2. Primary Role Objectives
   •  Oversee and be responsible for the sales, operations and finances of the businesses.
   • Sales
     1. Oversee and provide support to the business development, sales and marketing teams, manage existing business and identify and secure new clients.
     2.  Conduct market research and competition analysis to identify market trends and create proactive opportunities which will also inform strategic decision making.
     3. Always ensure positive public relations.

• Operations
  1.  Provide leadership and support to heads of departments and general managers.
  2. Ensure cross-departmental collaboration in the businesses and where appropriate between the businesses.
  3.  Implement budget management, process improvement, monitor KPI and statutory compliance.
  4.  Provide ongoing proactive evaluations of all businesses to improve company profits, customer satisfaction and staff retention.
  5.  hire senior team members and be part of disciplinary proceedings.
•  Finance
  1.  Oversee and ensure sound financial management throughout the businesses and maximise profitability. You will achieve business objectives in line with financial budgets.
  2. Your responsibilities will include:
     • Capital funding.
     • Budgets/forecasting.
     • Financial analysis.
     • Cash flow management.
     • Risk management.
     • Contract analysis and negotiations with financial providers, legal suppliers, contractors, etc.
     • Compliance and governance.

 

Location

Based in the Collooney and Castledargan Resort offices. You will be expected to travel to meetings held in different locations.

 

Person

 

A suitable qualified person with over 10 years’ experience, preferably with a finance qualification.

 

This person will currently be a commercial manager, or a person with the required qualification that wants to become a commercial leader.

 

Strong leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills required. This person will have an entrepreneurial mindset and would ideally understand owner-driven SME.
