Overview
Our successful client is seeking an experienced HR Professional to join them as Head of Human Resources.
As the Head of Human Resources, you will serve as a strategic partner to the organisation’s leadership, aligning HR objectives with business goals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support organizational growth and employee engagement. This role will encompass time management responsibilities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimal productivity across the workforce. The Head of Human Resources will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Planning:
· Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
· Analyse workforce trends and propose proactive solutions to address organisational needs.
2. Employee Relations:
· Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
· Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
3. Talent Acquisition and Management:
· Oversee the recruitment process, including workforce planning, sourcing, selection, and onboarding of talent.
· Develop retention strategies to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent.
4. Performance Management:
· Implement performance management systems to drive high performance and accountability.
· Provide coaching and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and setting performance goals.
5. Training and Development:
· Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
· Facilitate leadership development initiatives to build a pipeline of future leaders.
6. Compensation and Benefits:
· Collaborate with the Finance team to design competitive compensation and benefits packages.
· Ensure pay equity and compliance with relevant regulations.
7. HR Metrics and Analytics:
· Develop HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
· Use data insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
8. Time Management:
· Develop and implement time management strategies to optimise productivity and efficiency across the organisation.
· Monitor and analyse time-related data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Qualification / Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
· CIPD membership is desirable.
· 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role.
· Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Irish employment laws, and regulations.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Proven ability to think strategically and implement innovative HR solutions.
· Proficiency in Human resources information systems and other HR software applications.
· Experience in time management techniques and methodologies.
· Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with organisational goals and objectives.
