Overview

We are seeking experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator for our engineering client in county Mayo

Key Responsibilities:

  • TIG Welder/ Fabricator is required to read drawings/ weld procedures and lay down welds.
  • Quantity and Quality of work to be of a high standard, free of defects and with attention to detail.
  • All work to be carried out in a safe manner.

Required key skills (functional/technical) & experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years on the job experience, TIG Welding/ Fabrication in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read Drawings, Weld Symbols and Weld Procedures
  • Qualified to level 6 Craft certificate Fitter/welder.
  • Good with numbers and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Relevant safety training (Safe Pass, Manual Handling & Abrasive Wheels) training complete and certified up to date.
  • Excellent in organisational, communication and time management skills necessary.
  • Strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Work in a safe competent manner and always adhere to company rules.
  • Available to work overtime and weekends
