Overview
We are looking to recruit An Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper preferably with practice experience in a small to medium practice.
The Role:
- Creditors/Debtors/Bank Reconciliations
- Bookkeeping on Xero
- Journal entries, Payroll, Accruals and prepayments
- Preparation and completion of payroll for large companies, weekly, fortnightly and monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of Accounts and Income Tax
- Liaising with Clients
- Working alongside Payroll Manager on daily basis.
The Person:
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills i.e., Xero, QuickBooks, Surf Accounts Production and strong excel skills would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of ROS, submissions, agent link, registrations and My Enquiries
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a busy team.
- Experience is preferable but not essential.
