Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accounts Assistant to join a busy accounts department.

The Role:

  • Entering delivery dockets on to the system.
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices.
  • Using system workflows to have invoices approved and authorised for payment.
  • Generating invoice queries and liaising with suppliers to resolve.
  • Creditor statement reconciliations.
  • Receiving daily email for the finance team.
  • Ad-hoc filing
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

The Candidate:

  • 1-2 years experience in an accounting administration position.
  • Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Be Well organised and self-motivated, good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Previous experience of construction, although not essential, may be advantageous.
