Overview
We are seeking to recruit an Accounts Administrator for our established client. This role can be based out of their Mayo or Galway office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify account statements and compare against our records and ensure 100% accuracy for payment to suppliers
- Investigate account related discrepancies; determine reason for discrepancy and report to supervisor on these
- Communicate any branch discrepancies to Company Manager and follow up frequently on the correction of these
- Follow through on credit terms and ensure all payments are made within agreed credit terms
- To setup/issue payments to suppliers within agreed timeframe
- To issue refunds to customers within the required timeframe and reconcile with the customer account
- Identify area’s of continuous discrepancies and report to supervisor
Key requirements
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, knowledge of Relay an advantage
- Detail oriented and numerically minded, with a proven record of identifying discrepancies
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently deal with insurance companies and colleagues
- Proven experience of taking initiative
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to adhere to all policies in relation to confidentiality
