Overview

We are seeking to recruit an Accounts Administrator for our established client. This role can be based out of their Mayo or Galway office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify account statements and compare against our records and ensure 100% accuracy for payment to suppliers
  • Investigate account related discrepancies; determine reason for discrepancy and report to supervisor on these
  • Communicate any branch discrepancies to Company Manager and follow up frequently on the correction of these
  • Follow through on credit terms and ensure all payments are made within agreed credit terms
  • To setup/issue payments to suppliers within agreed timeframe
  • To issue refunds to customers within the required timeframe and reconcile with the customer account
  • Identify area’s of continuous discrepancies and report to supervisor

Key requirements 

  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, knowledge of Relay an advantage
  • Detail oriented and numerically minded, with a proven record of identifying discrepancies
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently deal with insurance companies and colleagues
  • Proven experience of taking initiative
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to adhere to all policies in relation to confidentiality
