Overview
Our Client wishes to extent their Finance Team and have a vacancy for a Part Qualified or Recently Qualified Accountant reporting to the Financial Controller.
This a permanent role based in Galway and is an excellent opportunity to join a Tier 1 construction company.
They are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of the team.
Responsibilities:
The role will involve working in all aspects of accounts including:
- Subcontractor payments & RCT,
- Suppliers,
- Fleet management,
- Utilities Management,
- Payroll,
- VAT and all areas associated with financial management.
Skills:
- Must Be capable of learning, progressing and developing within the role.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks/Thesaurus or similar.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Construction experience an advantage
