Overview
Our Client is recruiting for a HVAC Air Conditioning Technician in Dublin
This role will involve field service activities to some of Dublin’s largest shopping centres/commercial developments and industrial facilities to,include reactive, preventative maintenance and commissioning of commercial Air Conditioning equipment at customer sites. These will include chillers, AHU’s and both split and VRV systems such as Daikin/Mitsubishi/Panasonic etc. Close control unit ppm and repair also (mainly Stultz) Also electrical maintenance. The applicant should have:-
Responsibilities
Provide HVAC/refrigeration servicing and repair around the Dublin region
Mostly work in Dublin but occasional travel required.
Ability to prepare quotations and advise clients on repairs required.
Follow safety procedures as required.
Participate in an on call rota once every 8-10 weeks.
Be willing to work as part of a team, be self-motivated and be professional
Preferable Skills
Excellent Communication skills.
Experience in reactive calls and ppm to Air/water cooled chillers.
Experience on all major vrv systems, i.e Mitsubishi, Daikin etc
Strong customer focus
Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
Ability to priorities duties and work under pressure.
Attention to detail.
Fault finding and problem solving techniques.
Computer literacy.

39 hours per with with occasional overtime as required

We would consider an apprentice looking to complete their apprenticeship.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Ideally applicants will have a formal qualification in Refrigeration either through City & Guilds or NVQ,RGI or trade background
Preferably have F-gas 2079
Full driving licence essential
2+ years HVAC or Refrigeration experience
