Our client is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Dublin

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated person to join a complex and rapidly evolving business unit within the firm.

The successful Finance Business Partner will be work with the Consulting business to support commercial and finance processes within the business, including

  • financial planning,
  • providing insights on financial performance,
  • providing advice to the business, particularly on complex client engagements
  • continuous improvement of finance processes with a view to improving profitability, accelerating cash flow, etc

Role of Finance Business Partner

  • Work with the Business Unit Leader, Finance Partner, Operations Director & the Leadership team to help them to monitor and to understand their financial performance, trends and the relevant underlying drivers to support business growth and increased profitability objectives;
  • Work with the Business Unit Leader, Finance Partner, Operations Director and Decision Support Leader to devise and implement performance improvement programmes – improved profitability, accelerated cash flow, etc.;
  • Work with the Business Unit Leader, Finance Partner, Operations Director and Decision Support Leader to support budgeting; forecasting and other business modelling activity;
  • Conduct Client, Engagement and Profit Center profitability reviews, together with appropriate response plans;
  • Provide team leadership and oversight to project controllers and billing team in the Consulting business
  • As Process owner for Finance process in Consulting, ensure finance processes are well understood across the Business Unit and that any improvements are embedded within the Business
  • Project Manage the development and implementation of financial performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements for Finance Business Partner

  • A recognized University degree or equivalent (minimum grade 2.1)
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • 5+ years’ post qualified experience in a Finance environment
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills
